A small dose of lemon is GAPS phase 1, larger amounts of lemon are Full Gaps. Some people find success with lemon essential oil at GAPS phase one, however, taking lemon essential oil internally is not GAPS compliant.

  1. 1 cup coconut oil
  2. 1/4-1/2 cup organic lemon juice to taste
  3. zest from one organic lemon
  4. 1.5 tablespoons local honey
  5. 2-3 drops of vanilla
  1. Blend together all ingredients and drop from a frosting bag onto silpat sheets. Freeze then remove from tray and store in the freezer.
  1. If you blend too long it will make the mixture too runny for the frosting tube.
Nourishing Plot

1 cup coconut oil

1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (or organic bottled lemon juice)

2-3 tablespoons local honey

zest from 1.5 lemons

Blend up all ingredients in Vitamix, food processor or other appliance until smooth. Place contents into a frosting bag with the flower tip. Squeeze out flowers onto a non-stick cooking sheet (like this one). Freeze. Enjoy!
